International

When your order reaches the destination country and clears customs it will be attained by your local postal service provider. You will be able to track your items by using the tracking number on your local postal service provider’s website. 3-5 days after your item has arrived in your destination country your items can be tracked via Australia Post.

Jewellery Duty is not responsible for any additional charged associated with international customs and taxes. The customer is responsible for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the destination country.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
In the unlikely event that you don’t love your Jewellery Duty pieces, you are eligible to return your items for a full refund. Items must be returned within 10 business days after delivery date.
Items must be unworn and returned in original condition with all packaging.

Please note that earrings cannot be returned under any circumstances due to health and safety regulations.
WARRANTY & REPAIRS
Every hand – crafted Jewellery Duty piece comes with a 1-Year Warranty. We will repair your jewellery free of charge. No questions asked!
Simply email us at info@jewelleryduty.com or via our contact page. Please include your order number, order date, a description of the fault and a clear image of the fault. The damage will be assessed by a member of our team and they will determine if the item is able to be repaired. In the rare instance a repair is not possible alternative options will be offered to you via email.
Postage costs associated with a repair are the responsibility of the customer. Customers within Australia may send their item in a pre-paid self addressed trackable satchel. If the item isn’t sent in a pre-paid trackable parcel the customer will be invoiced an additional $11 AUD. This invoice must be paid before your repaired item is returned to you.
International customers will be invoiced an additional $20 AUD for shipping of your repaired item. This invoice must be paid before your repaired item is returned to you.
Our 1 year warranty does not cover the loss or theft of any pieces. We advise you to contact your insurance to make a claim with them directly. We are happy to provide any proof of purchase information that you may need, to request this information please contact us.
EXCHANGES
Jewellery Duty cannot offer exchanges on any items. The best way to secure your precious gems is to return your unwanted items and make a new purchase.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?
All Jewellery Duty pieces are handcrafted in Australia with high quality materials. All pieces should be handled with care to maintain their original condition. Contact with water, chlorine, lotions, hairspray and perfume should be avoided.
Store your jewels in a safe, dark, dry place that is out of direct sunlight. To prevent scratching/ rubbing, each piece should be stored separately.
WHAT IF MY ITEMS ARRIVE DAMAGED?
In the unlikely event you receive a damaged/ faulty item, your item will be replaced. If a replacement is not possible due to stock availability you will receive a full refund.

If any of these terms are not adhered to, Jewellery Duty reserves the right to deny replacement or exchange.
Jewellery Duty is not at fault if items appear differently on your computer/ phone/ tablet screen.
WHO PAYS FOR CUSTOMS, TAXES AND DUTIES?
If you reside in a country other than Australia, your order may be subject to destination company taxes and duties. All taxes, custom fees and duties are the responsibility of the customer and differ between countries.

Prices of all products are listed in AUD (Australian dollar currency) and are GST inclusive.
